Our Story
A Dream That Has Been Cooking for Years
"Noroc" is a locally and family-owned East European Restaurant that was founded in 2018. Located in the heart of the Sacramento region, Carmichael, California, Noroc Restaurant is the first restaurant to introduce East European cuisine in an elegant atmosphere.

Originally from Moldova (a country in the northeastern corner of the Balkan region of Europe), our family keeps the tradition and values our rich history. Why Noroc? The word "Noroc" means "good luck" in the Romanian language. This word is also used as a greeting. "Noroc" is also said while toasting (the Romanian equivalent of "cheers").
THE UNIQUENESS OF OUR CUISINE
Moldovan cuisine is a very interesting mix of cuisines from eastern and western countries as these countries have influenced Moldova throughout history.
The cooking recipes at our restaurant come from our ancestors, from our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who, in addition to all the ingredients necessary for a tasty and hearty meal, never forgot to add love.
There are deep traditional secrets you never get to know unless you step inside and take a spoon of this. Our Chefs brought you the taste you've been missing for a long time, and it'll soon become your favorite.
